Study Overview
- Study with 491 participants in Sucre (districts 6 & 7).
- 90% used pesticides; most with unsafe practices.
- 80% reported acute symptoms (headaches, dizziness, weakness).
- Longer exposure linked to respiratory decline and some neurological effects.
- Highlights urgent need for training, safer practices, and better health monitoring.
