Current CIH^LMU students and recent alumni (up to 60 months post graduation) are encouraged to publish their research in peer-reviewed journals. To support this, CIH^LMU offers a cost coverage for publication fees and LMU ethics committee fees for eligible applicants.

Only candidates from DAC-countries are eligible. Participants from High-Income Countries (HICs) will not be considered.

• Applicants must be currently enrolled in a CIH^LMU program or alumni (graduated within the last 60 months).
• Applicants must be first or last authors with CIH^LMU affiliation.
• Publications must be in peer-reviewed journals with an impact factor.
• For ethics fees cost coverage the student must be enrolled at LMU.

• Completed application form (download below).
• Acceptance letter from the journal.
• Manuscript ready for publication.
• Supervisor's consent (for current students).
• Consent from an affiliated CIH^LMU person (for alumni).

• Proof of enrolment / Immatriculation (MSc / PhD at LMU).

The final invoice by the journal has to be submitted with the application no later than 15 November 2026.
