One Health Symposium, Quito, Ecuador

The One Health 2024 Symposium, organized as part of the GENERA Project focuses on addressing critical global health challenges through the One Health approach, which promotes holistic and interdisciplinary solutions to tackle complex issues at the intersection of human, animal, and environmental health. The symposium is an integral part of the GENERA Project: German-Ecuadorian Network for Global Health Research and Innovation. This initiative aims to strengthen pandemic preparedness and response by fostering collaboration between universities in Ecuador and Germany. Participating institutions include Universidad de las Américas, Universidad San Francisco de Quito, Universidad de Cuenca, and the CIHLMU . Our goal is to build robust partnerships and create education and research networks in the field of global health, utilizing the One Health approach to develop innovative responses to emerging health threats.
