Participants will explore key risk factors, health transitions, and socioeconomic, environmental, and gender-related determinants of NCDs. The course covers screening, surveillance, and prevention strategies, alongside health system challenges such as task shifting and continuity of care. Special attention is given to NCDs in humanitarian settings and high-risk populations. By the end of the course, participants will be equipped to analyze global targets like the SDGs and Voluntary Targets for 2025, and contribute meaningfully to NCD prevention and control efforts in diverse settings.
