Outstanding facilities of the LMU Klinikum are the Oncology Center of Excellence CCC M, Bavaria's largest transplant center TxM, the German Dizziness and Balance Center, the Tropical Institute and the Center for International Health (CIH). In addition, LMU University Hospital is involved in all German Centers for Health Research and in the DIFUTURE consortium as part of the Medical Informatics Initiative of the Federal Ministry of Education and Research, as well as playing a key role in the Network of University Medicine (NUM) on COVID-19.
