In our quarterly magazine KLINIKUM aktuell, we offer patients, relatives and interested parties information on innovations in patient care in the areas of diagnosis and therapy as well as scientific and medical advances in the form of reports, features and interviews. We also provide information about structural developments at the clinic, awards and prizes, campaigns and dates and give valuable and practical health tips.

Theme booklet and annual report
The annual report of the LMU Munich Hospital and Faculty of Medicine was published once a year until 2017. It contained information about medicine, nursing, administration, research and teaching - in facts and figures as well as in detailed reports.
In our new themed issue "Guiding Principles & Perspectives", we look back on a year of Ukrainehilfe at LMU University Hospital. In reports, interviews and background information, employees talk about their experiences.

Fact Sheet Research
The close links between the hospital and the Faculty of Medicine at Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München are a model for success. In national and international rankings, the LMU Faculty of Medicine consistently occupies top positions in terms of publications, patents and teaching results. The "Fact Sheet Research" now offers a compact six-page overview of the research activities of the LMU Faculty of Medicine and the LMU Hospital Munich.

The LMU University Hospital was founded in 1826 by King Ludwig I as the first Bavarian university hospital and is today one of the most renowned institutions for patient care, medical student training and medical research in Europe. With 2,062 beds, it is one of the largest and, with 48 clinics, departments and institutes as well as 53 interdisciplinary centers, one of the most highly specialized hospitals in Germany.

The Faculty of Medicine at LMU Munich is the largest in southern Germany and is one of the leading centers for academic medicine and health sciences in Europe. It is characterized by a long tradition with important personalities such as Alois Alzheimer or the students of the "White Rose".
