"Together. Caring. Pioneering." is our claim and our mission. Around 500,000 patients are treated each year at our two locations, Campus Großhadern and Innenstadt. Together with the Medical Faculty of Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München, we are one of the leading medical locations both nationally and internationally.

Our hospital is divided into 28 specialist clinics, 14 institutes and six departments. In addition, 63 interdisciplinary centers work together across disciplinary boundaries. In addition to the outpatient care facilities, around 2,000 beds are available for partial and full inpatient treatment. Around 2,000 doctors and 3,500 nursing staff are directly involved in the care of our patients (as at 2025).
