The HR department is responsible for all matters relating to the employment relationships of our more than 11,300 employees. A total of five departments support and implement all employee concerns and issues, from recruitment and career planning to legal matters.
The five units of the Human Resources department specialize in individual areas of HR management , ensuring the best possible professional advice and support from the respective experts.
Marion Eisenreich
The PA/1 Operational Personnel Management unit looks after employees from the clinical area and has the following main tasks:
- Personnel administration
- Personnel support
- Personnel planning
- Advice for managers
Benjamin von Sierstorpff
The PA/2 Operational Personnel Management unit looks after employees from the nursing and commercial areas and focuses on the following tasks:

The PA/3 Recruitment and Retention department specializes in various strategic core elements along the career path of all employees at LMU University Hospital and offers a wide range of services for employees in a variety of professional and private situations:
- Personnel marketing and recruiting
- personnel development
- Measures to reconcile work and family life
- Company integration and ideas management
Ivonne Gillet-Pohl
The PA/4 Personnel Controlling and Systems unit records and monitors personnel processes and manages the various time recording systems for all employees. The following range of services is covered by the colleagues:
- Personnel information system
- working time management
- quality management
In addition to personnel controlling, the PA/5 unit is responsible for operational labor law activities as well as matters relating to chief physicians and the pool. The main tasks include
- Advising managers on labor law and collective bargaining matters
- Processing hearings and warnings
- Drafting head physician contracts
- Participation in private liquidation proceeds
