Organization
In accordance with the Bavarian University Hospital Act, the bodies of the hospital are the Supervisory Board, the Hospital Board and the Hospital Conference.
Supervisory Board
With the restructuring of the Bavarian university hospitals, a Supervisory Board has been installed which decides on fundamental matters of the hospital and monitors the business of the Management Board.
Hospital Board of Directors
The members of the Executive Board are appointed for a term of office of five years and can be reappointed at the end of their term of office. The Executive Board manages the hospital and is responsible for its business. In its decisions, it is bound by the resolutions of the Supervisory Board.
Clinic Conference
The Clinical Center Conference is an advisory body for the Clinical Center Management Board. It is chaired by the Medical Director. The members of the Clinic Conference are the directors of the clinics and other clinical facilities and the heads of the clinic's independent departments. In addition, two representatives of the other professors, including the junior professors and other medical and scientific staff, the nursing staff and other non-scientific staff of the hospital, the Women's Representative of the Faculty of Medicine, the Equal Opportunities Officer and the Chairman of the Hospital Staff Council are members of the Hospital Conference, which is
under the legal supervision of the Bavarian State Ministry of Science and the Arts.
