Staff Council
The Staff Council (PR) represents the interests of the employees of the LMU Klinikum with the aim of achieving an appropriate balance between the well-being of the employees and the fulfillment of official duties. The PR is responsible for ensuring that the laws, regulations, collective agreements and service agreements applicable to employees are observed. The PR tasks are specified in the Bavarian Staff Representation Act (BayPVG). They range from applying for measures that benefit the department and the employees to the integration of severely disabled employees in cooperation with the representative body for severely disabled employees.
Representative body for the severely disabled
The Representative Body for Severely Disabled Employees (SBV) is responsible for tasks in accordance with the German Social Security Code IX and the Inclusion Guidelines 2019 of the Free State of Bavaria. It promotes the integration and participation of severely disabled people and people of equal status in the workplace and represents their interests. It is subject to a duty of confidentiality and must be informed immediately and comprehensively by the employer in all matters affecting severely disabled people without being requested to do so and must be consulted before a decision is made.
