The Legal and Compliance department is organizationally assigned to the Commercial Director. Its tasks include providing internal legal advice to the Executive Board, the medical facilities and the administration of the LMU Klinikum and its subsidiaries on legal issues and contract negotiations in the following areas:

• Commercial law
• Medical and medical malpractice law
• Research law and inventions
• Real estate and insurance law
• labor law
• Compliance
  
  

The Legal and Compliance department sees itself as a service provider with the aim of finding practicable solutions within the given complex structures by means of constructive legal advice in order to provide the best possible support for patient care and medical research at the LMU Klinikum.
