In their presentations, the experts will provide information on standards and new developments in the diagnosis and treatment of early and advanced breast cancer. A special highlight this year is the lecture by fatigue expert PD Dr. Elisabeth Jentschke from the University Hospital of Würzburg. Dr. Tom Degenhardt from Outdoor Against Cancer (OAC) will talk about how cancer patients can get moving.
A panel of prominent experts will also answer questions that participating patients can ask on site and, from now on, also as part of their online registration at www.brustkrebs-infotag.de. Registration is not mandatory; interested parties are also welcome to come to Großhadern spontaneously on March 3.
The Breast Cancer Information Day 2026 will be given a special touch by Pink Voices, the ladies' choir of brustkrebs-muenchen e.V., who will "celebrate the wonderful things in life" with their conductor Joy C. Green and invite you to sing along in their half-hour concert.
The Breast Center at LMU University Hospital Munich and Brustkrebs Deutschland e.V. have been working closely together for more than 20 years, including organizing the annual Breast Cancer Information Day. In addition, Renate Haidinger, Chairwoman of Brustkrebs Deutschland e.V., regularly offers consultation hours for patients at the Breast Center at the LMU Hospital.
