"Together. Caring. Pioneering." - this is the claim and mission of the LMU Klinikum in Munich. The new interdisciplinary LMU Klinikum Innenstadt guarantees state-of-the-art structures for treatment, teaching and research.

An accident at Stachus, an injured person at the "Wies'n", an imminent birth: with the LMU Klinikum's inner city campus, patients can always rely on the best medical care in the center of Munich. The LMU Klinikum and the Free State of Bavaria are investing in a new clinic for this purpose: from mid-June 2021, the interdisciplinary LMU Klinikum Innenstadt will open on the corner of Ziemssen and Nußbaumstrasse, where the internal medicine, surgery, emergency care and obstetrics departments will operate as inpatient facilities. With around 12,400 square meters of usable space, the LMU Clinic will provide university treatment for patients as well as student training for doctors and midwives.
