International Board
With the primary task of structuring, accelerating and promoting the internationalization of LMU Medicine, the International Board of LMU Medicine at the Faculty of Medicine and the LMU Munich Hospital (IB) was established as the central, responsible body for the internationalization strategy.
The IB's activities are aimed at sharpening the international profile and increasing the visibility of LMU Medicine internationally. It also aims to promote the recruitment, training, further education and training of top international talent for research, teaching and clinical work, as well as the significant shaping of international health issues.
The main task of the IB is to formulate an internationalization strategy for the institutional support of collaborations, programmes and strategic partnerships. Together with its working groups, the IB designs supporting processes for the implementation of the internationalization strategy and the resolutions of the Board. As the central integration and coordination office for the assessment and evaluation of international cooperation requests and delegation visits at the institutional level of the Dean's Office or Executive Board, the International Board is now the "single point of contact".
Further information on the IB and the individual working groups can be found here.
