For Patients: How to Reach the Outpatient Clinic (Leopoldstraße 5)
By plane (Munich Airport)
- Take the S8 S-Bahn (every 20 minutes) to the Marienplatz stop
- There, transfer to the U3 subway (toward Olympia-Einkaufszentrum) or the U6 (toward Garching-Forschungszentrum)
- Get off at the “Universität” or “Giselastraße” stop, then walk about five minutes
- Taxi from the airport to the institute (approx. 50 euros)
By train
- Take the U-Bahn or S-Bahn to Marienplatz and transfer there (see above)
- Travel by train
By other public transportation
- Take bus line 154 toward “Nordbad” or toward “Bruno-Walter-Ring” (next stops at the U-Bahn stations Universität, Giselastraße, or Siegestor), Line 153 toward “Odeonsplatz” or “Giesing Bahnhof or Hochschule München,” or Lines 58 and 68 (stop “Siegestor,” approx. 300 meters away) stop near the institute building
By Car
- There are only limited parking options available in the vicinity of the institute’s locations (Georgenstraße, Leopoldstraße, Türkenstraße) (parking ticket required)
- The nearest taxi stand is located at Siegestor (toward Ludwigstraße, heading toward the city center)
