The EU Solidarity Talks “Kapuściński Series” brings EU humanitarian aid and civil protection experts directly to university campuses across Europe. Named in honour of renowned journalist Ryszard Kapuściński, the series continues his legacy of bearing witness to global crises and amplifying voices from the frontlines.

As part of its tour through Europe, the Kapuściński Series will make a stop in Germany at LMU Munich. The Munich edition will focus on Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights in Humanitarian Settings, bringing together experts and the university community for a discussion on this important aspect of humanitarian action.

The event is organized by the European Commission’s Department for European Civil Protection and Humanitarian Aid Operations in cooperation with Deutsche Welle and hosted by the LMU University Hospital (Institute of Infectious Diseases and Tropical Medicine, Teaching & Training Unit headed by PD Dr. med. Günter Fröschl), LMU, and the CIHLMU Center for International Health.

Further information about the speakers will be announced shortly.

The event will be held in German; an English translation will be provided.
