Adult attachment and self-management in patients with multimorbidity in primary care

Apricare (Adult Attachment in PRImary CAre) is a DFG observational study on the relationship between attachment styles and self-management skills in primary care patients with multimorbidity. Over 200 patients aged 50-85 years with at least three co-existing chronic diseases were surveyed.

Initial results provided an important basis for the assessment of self-management abilities depending on different types of patients in the presence of multiple diseases and were published in PLOS One in 2015.
