The National Action Alliance for Vaccination (NABI e.V.) held its inaugural meeting in Berlin. The independent body made up of professional societies, foundations, associations, federations and the scientific community emerged from the Tagesspiegel vaccination summits with the aim of transferring the momentum and success of overcoming the pandemic through the COVID vaccination to other vaccine-preventable diseases. "Our primary goal is to anchor vaccinations as a highly effective instrument of primary prevention in the population's awareness and to increase vaccination rates with concrete actions," says Prof. Heidrun Thaiss, Chairwoman of the Alliance alongside Dr. Thomas Fischbach. "This should also increase health literacy at the same time."
