DESAM Junior Academy of General Practice

Dear medical students,

For more than ten years, medical students have been supported and networked nationwide in the Junior Academy of General Practice and the Summer School of General Practice.

Applications for a place in the new year of the Nachwuchsakademie Allgemeinmedizin arestill open until January 5, 2025 .

You are interested in general practice, would like to get to know the GP profession and the career paths that general practice offers as a subject. If you enjoy exchanging professional ideas and networking, then apply for a place at the junior academy.

The core elements of the scholarship are the annual retreat weekend and participation in the Congress for General Practice and Family Medicine. Scholarship holders receive funding for tickets to the DEGAM Congress and the social evening as well as a travel and accommodation allowance. The junior academy enables individual support through intensive work in small groups and the development of personal career prospects.

Medical students from the fourth to the eighth semester can apply. Further information and the application conditions can be found here.

The summer school will take place in Heidelberg in 2025 from September 15 to 19 under the overall theme "Preserving Tradition - Shaping the Future". The application documents will be posted on the website in February. Medical students in the clinical semesters can apply.
