Professor Sebastian Schneeweiss (Harvard Medical School / Brigham and Women's Hospital) is currently a Fellow of the LMU Center for Advanced Studies (CAS LMU) and a guest at the Institute of General Medicine.

At the opening event of the CAS focus "Medical Data Processing", moderated by Professor Tobias Dreischulte, Professor Schneeweiss impressively presented the growing importance of health insurance data for research into drug effects. In the coming years, we will continue to intensify our collaboration with Professor Schneeweiss in this area.
