We invited a high-ranking panel of students and AiW members to inform and discuss the professional perspectives of the modern GP and training opportunities for general practitioners. On the podium were Dr. Oliver Abbushi (Chairman of the Bavarian Association of General Practitioners), Dr. Klaus Fresenius (Chairman of the Medical District Association of Upper Bavaria and BLÄK Board Member), Dr. Dagmar Schneider (Head of the BLÄK Coordination Office for General Practice in Munich) and Dr. Dieter Treu (a general practitioner who is often politically active) together with our Institute Director Prof. Dr. Jochen Gensichen. The experts were on hand to answer the students' questions on the topic of "GPs today and tomorrow - a dream job between everyday and cutting-edge medicine".
