The Pharmacoepidemiology 2025 Spring School, a collaborative event between LMU and Harvard Medical School, took place from May 12 to 16 at the LMU campus in Planegg-Martinsried and was a great success. Under the direction of Prof. Tobias Dreischulte and Prof. Sebastian Schneeweiss, 44 people took part in the five-day intensive course, which focused on pharmacoepidemiological safety and efficacy studies. Pilot analyses were carried out in small projects and practical challenges in working with secondary data were comprehensively addressed, enabling participants to acquire valuable skills for future research projects. The event also provided an excellent opportunity for professional exchange and interdisciplinary networking between young scientists and experienced researchers.
