In a letter from the Federal Minister of Health, Nina Warken, dated September 4, 2025, Prof. Dr. Tobias Dreischulte and seven other experts were appointed to the Scientific Advisory Board for the Further Development of Risk Structure Equalizationfor the next four years.

The advisory board advises the Federal Social Security Office on the procedure for ongoing care and the further development of the insured person classification model. It also regularly reviews the effects of risk structure compensation - particularly with regard to competition between health insurance funds and its resistance to manipulation.
