Apricare study
Apricare (Adult Attachment in PRImary CAre) is a DFG observational study on the relationship between attachment styles and self-management skills in patients with multimorbidity receiving general practitioner care. Over 200 patients between the ages of 50-85 with at least three concurrent chronic illnesses were surveyed.
Initial results provided an important basis for assessing self-management skills depending on different patient types in the presence of multiple diseases and were published in PLOS One in 2015.
