Website analysis with Matomo
Matomo is an open source solution for tracking visitors and was long known under the name Piwik.
The most important functions of Matomo are
- Statistics on page views as a real-time log or limited to daily periods
- Individually adjustable evaluation periods for the statistics
- Reference analysis, i.e. from which website the visitor came to the current website
- Visitor analysis (country of origin, browser, operating system)
- Anonymization of the IP address for data protection
